The Uro-Oncology Asia 2021
Significant advances in urological cancer treatments have been emerging in recent years. For instance, immunotherapy continues to play an increasingly important role and innovations in biomarkers help select patients for suitable therapies allowing more targeted and personalised treatment. As a platform for world class speakers from across the globe to share with us their research and experience in the field of urological cancers, the Uro-Oncology Asia Conference 2021 was successfully held on 16th-17th January 2021. The conference was organised by The Hong Kong Society of Uro-oncology (HKSUO) in collaboration with The Hong Kong Urological Association. 14 inspiring lectures covering various aspects of urological cancers were offered by 12 renowned scholars from the United States and European countries. Following each lectures, there were fruitful discussions between participants and the experts. In addition to the sharing by the experts, virtual booth exhibition sponsored by pharmaceutical companies were available during the event providing update information on a wide spectrum of therapeutics for urological cancers available in the local market.
