The webinar on Clinical Approach to Dementia Screening was successfully held on 28th October 2020. Dementia is a progressive brain disorder with the decline in cognitive and intellectual functions such as memory, comprehension and learning capacity. In the webinar, the concept of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) was covered. Particularly, the procedures of 5 minutes version of the Hong Kong Montreal Cognitive Assessment (HK-MoCA-5min), one of the brief cognitive screening tool for MCI, was outlined. The informative sharing was followed by in-depth discussions on the classification of different stages of dementia by using HK-MoCA-5min.
